The Fields

Our fields are located at 91 Charleston St. Wellsboro PA.  Entrance and exits are ONE WAY so please be careful when pulling into and out of the parking areas. There is additional parking for the upper fields behind Little League Field #1.

Traffic can be congested during game days so if you can carpool with friends and family members, please do so.

There is no public seating at the fields. Please bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on.

GENERAL RULES & INFORMATION

  • Only those WAYS board approved volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, referees) may be on the field with the players at any time. All parents must remain outside of the fenced field area during practices and on the opposite side of the field from the teams during games. All volunteers interacting with players must have the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background, PA Child Abuse, and FBI fingerprinting if they have not resided in PA for past 10 years (a waiver must be signed to verify residency).
 
  • A spectator line is for players and referees to have adequate room. Please keep yourselves and belongings behind the line.

  • Pets must remain outside of the fences.
    •  
  • No jewelry may be worn by players.
    •  
  • Shin guards are mandatory and must be cloth covered or covered completely by socks.
    •  
  • WAYS Team jersey should be worn for every match and on top of all other clothing.
    •  
  • Shorts or athletic pants should be worn. No jeans, no belts. Sneakers or soccer cleats only. Football/baseball cleats are not allowed.
    •  
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated from players, coaches, or spectators. Offending parties will be warned and may be asked to leave.
    •  
  • The Charleston Street fields have been designated by the Borough of Wellsboro as a NON-SMOKING facility.
    •  
  • Please help keep our facility in good condition by cleaning up any bottles or wrappers and placing them in the trash receptacles located at all the fields.

PICTURES INFORMATION – Team and individual pictures will be taken during your regular scheduled practice time. All players should wear their team jersey and socks, athletic shorts, shin guards, and cleats/sneakers for the picture. Photos will be taken during the season and may be posted on the WAYS Facebook page, printed in the newspaper or available for view on the photographer’s website.
If you do not wish to have your child’s photo made public, email: [email protected] with your child(ren)’s name(s) and we will make sure no photos are published.
